A semi-consistent newsletter for
curious digital marketers.
With βοΈ, from Sitelogic's Founder: Peter
Who? I started as an SEO-focused content writer in 2008...when you could write hundreds of posts and skyrocket to the top of the SERPs. That was fun and all, but not sustainable. Instead, I focus on helping people find the sweet spot at the intersection of business value, user needs, and brand story.
In a more recent decade, I've been a cross-functional digital strategist working with brands like Capital One (yes, the SLJ stuff), Hanes (underpants!), LβOrΓ©al (π π»ππΌββοΈπ), UFC (different than beauty, eh?), and Unilever (things that taste and smell good.)
Secret: I've also worked with 50+ other brands that have awesome people, but might not make me look as cool in a bio.
BUT, I'm here to talk about you and why in the world you might want to give up such sensitive information as your first name when signing up for an email list (...it's so I don't have that awkward "Hi {SPACE} ," at the beginning of emails).
Here's the point: web stuff is always changing and the secret to staying afloat in a sea of jargon, AI-is-coming-for-your-job fears, and the reality of finite resources is knowing enough about everything to figure things out. Usually, that means I'll write about SEO, Analytics, and site optimization but, every so often, I might make things spicier πΆοΈ (not in a weird way...I just like to cook, so I had to warn you about potential culinary tangents.)
TL;DR β you'll get some emails that will help you learn how to make your website better.
Thanks for making it this far,
Peter
